Futures are another way to trade to produce profits on a regular basis. Here are the basics for how Futures work. We'll focus on the futures for the S&P 500, however there are many other types of futures you may wish to consider. The name for the S&P 500 futures is E-mini S&P 500 or /ES for short. Some brokerages may require the slash and others may not. This is an index Future mirroring the S&P 500. Futures are tracked using "points". The ES is currently trading at 6647.50 p
